This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of Bill Miller Bar-B-Q and Bill Miller’s Laguna Madre Seafood Company (“Bill Miller”), and how we collect information from you when you visit and use Bill Miller’s websites, mobile or tablet applications, or other on-line services or platforms (“Services”). This Privacy Policy only applies to those Services operated by or for Bill Miller, including billmillerbbq.com, lagunamadreseafood.com, order.billmiller.online, and order.lagunamadre.online.
Bill Miller does not generally require your personal information to visit and use the Services. However, if you choose to participate in certain activities associated with the Services, such as providing general comments or making purchases from our on-line Company Store, you may be required to provide your personal information. We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.
Some of our websites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze use patterns and may collect information about your use of the website, including your IP address. Credit Card Purchases
Bill Miller may ask you to provide a credit card number in order to purchase a product. Credit card transactions are processed by a third-party professional payment authorization service selected by Bill Miller to provide added security and reliability. Only the purchase price and the credit card information provided by you are supplied to this third party service. Information collected during credit card transactions is maintained in the service’s database for accounting and billing purposes and is not released to other third parties. Bill Miller does not maintain a copy of your credit card information on its servers and will not use your credit card information for any purpose other than processing your order.

You may only make two requests over a 12-month period. Bill Miller will respond to your request within 45 days of receiving your request and will provide information from the 12-month period prior to your request.
There are some exceptions to these requests. For example, Bill Miller can keep your personal information for certain business purposes, such as processing payments for merchandise you order or undertaking internal research for our technological developments.
Additionally, the CCPA provides for certain exemptions, such that requests under the CCPA cannot prevent Bill Miller’s ability to:

Bill Miller takes great care in maintaining the security of your personal information and in preventing its unauthorized access by employing appropriate technology and internal procedures.
